Roles and
Responsibilities:
Leads and coordinates a department of product engineers and various support personnel matrixed to introduce into manufacturing new program awards as well as changes to existing programs and their impacts to manufacturing for respective business portfolio. Responsible for coordinating/managing Customer Quote Requests (CQR's) for respective customer group(s). Develops project plans, schedules and budgets by integrating functional activity plans supporting new product launches. Establishes program schedules and defines plant functional resource requirements based on satisfying customer launch schedules. Establishes the program budget and manages plant expenditures, customer funding, and capital expenditures. Establishes project start-up accounts for activities to be performed by the team. Establishes their department budget and manages expenditures to plan. Provides regular reports in both structured and non-structured formats on project status and issues. Responsible for project resource management and provides performance appraisal input to functional manager for personnel assigned to the program. Coordinates all plant activities supporting new product launches including pre-production and production launch. Responsible for project tooling/capital, including overseeing the planning, procurement, installation, acceptance and customer funding. Acts as central point of communication with the business portfolio's design center(s) within Global Electronics. Provides plant communication to GE program management and design on schedule/budget/performance issues and encourages direct communication between program management, design, and plant launch team functional representatives on specific issues. Acts as the plant representative or central point of contact with the customer throughout the launch and into production. Responsible for establishing and achieving overall new product launch manufacturing targets. Responsible for providing technical direction and functional management of manufacturing engineers and technicians assigned to the new product launch programs. Receives minimal supervision or direction from management. Empowered to manage their programs and make decisions to effectively and successfully launch new programs as well as maintain existing programs. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with a minimum of eight years experience in an electronics manufacturing engineering environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Advanced degree in a related field preferred. Minimum of three years experience in electronics assembly/manufacturing. A disciplined approach to project management with a minimum of 2 to 3 years experience. Exceptional team-building and communication skills. Previous knowledge of electronic product designs and manufacturing technologies preferred. Prior experience in customer interface at multiple levels and in multiple disciplines preferred. Project Management. Professional Certification (PMPC) preferred. Experience with supporting PFMEA and control plans. Green Belt / Black Belt Six Sigma trained with practical experience. Familiarity with personal computing software (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, Visio, MS Project, MS PowerPoint.). Competent with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc).
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Electrical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
