Customer Quality Engineering Manager

Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY: Manage and lead all Customer Quality functions of the APQP process and returns analysis process to satisfy the requirements of all customers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide overall leadership for the Customer Quality team to ensure timely responses to customer requirements/concerns.
Participate in FMEA, DV, PV and process launch teams.
Lead the customer quality function by implementing the AIAG defined APQP processes.
Assess effectiveness of plant-wide quality systems including training for ongoing improvements.
Implement and maintain internal and customer quality systems.
Lead all aspects of the customer returns analysis process for both zero mile and warranty returns for all customers.
Ensure adequate problem-solving tools are used to identify root cause of customer returns.
Represent Customer Quality during on site customer visits and audits.
Visit customer sites periodically to address any specific concerns and support customer relations.
Prepare and present monthly status reports for customer returns including response timing, containment, root cause and countermeasure.
Monitor customer databases and portals for quality related feedback and scorecards.
Support Customer Quality Engineers with special projects and larger issues.
Work closely with Process Quality, Supplier Quality, Central Quality and Engineering teams in Marshall and other ZF locations.
Train and coach engineers in writing technical reports that describe issues simply, clearly and accurately with emphasis on pictures, charts and illustrations.
Direct and coordinate engineering and technician resources to meet customer demands.
Compare and analyze trends in customer returns and internal process data to identify and prevent issues.
Perform other duties as assigned
Comply with and support the health, safety, and environmental programs, policies and procedures.

Job Requirements Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in electronics or engineering field.
Experience and Skill Requirements
minimum of 7 years experience in an electronics manufacturing engineering environment (thru-hole, SMT, final assembly, packaging); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong knowledge and understanding of analytical problem-solving tools such as 5 why, Ishikawa, 8D, etc.
Apply verbal and written communication skills in regular and special reports/presentations both internally and with customers.
Experienced in the use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint.
Good project management and organizational skills.
Six Sigma Green Belt / Black belt a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
